I tried a few different times to type up something to go with this post, something to talk about along side these photos but nothing really felt right. This post is post is basically to show off the pictures and ramble on a little bit about how I love sorting through junk. Good enough for you?
My dad offered me this tackle box he got an auction, I briefly glanced in and turned it down after snagging a small glass bottle because I really didn't need anything in it. Kevin then called dibs on it for his own stuff so we ended up bringing the box home anyway. It was sitting on the kitchen counter while I was waiting on some cookies in the oven so I decided to dig through it thoroughly while I waited.
I love sorting through old junk and trying to figure out what the person was like. It's one of my favorite things to do at estate sales. I enjoy making connections based on items around the house. Older folks homes seem to have so much more character. I wonder what people would assume about me after going through something of mine.
Judging by what I found inside this tackle box I'm going to say he or she was a disabled veteran from Cincinnati, Ohio who was a democrat. Other than those things which I found big clues for (thimble and weird little key chain thing) I'd also have to say they weren't too big on cleanliness and their house might have stunk...a lot. phew! The thread literally smelled so bad it had to be thrown away!
Hope you're having an awesome Saturday!
