Happy Vernal Equinox!

It is officially the first day of Spring and I couldn't be happier. I'm elated that winter is over. We had  a really mild one but nothing beats birds chirping, peepers (sorry you guys out west and in other countries don't get to hear peepers! there isn't a single sound more comforting than peepers.) and just the smell in the air! It seems so appropriate that today my magnolia tree is about to bloom and the leaves on my gingko tree have just begun to bud.

I'm looking forward to so many things. Mushrooms, meeting new animals, taking walks, having my deck full of plants and flowers again. I cannot wait!
