Look how green everything is! I am so excited. I really missed the woods being full and green, it's so pretty. I wish it could be like this all year round.
I found this dress (which I'm wearing as a shirt) at Goodwill for 50 cents. It's actually a pretty decent length, it just doesn't really have any shape to it and isn't very flattering. Wearing a skirt over it is an easy fix to that problem because there is no way I can resist wearing something with that awesome of a collar plus it does look awfully cute as a shirt. The tag on the inside says "Scott's Costume Co" and then a local phone number, so I googled it. I found a business that very well could be the same one, they do costume rentals. I wonder what kind of costume it was supposed to be. It's a really nice quality, unlike most costumes where they're made of cheap fabric that aren't intended for everyday use. I really spend far too much time wondering about where my thrift finds come from.
I'll be back a little later with a giveaway where you'll have the chance to win your own owl bag from Titina. Make sure to stop back! Now I'm off to straighten the house because my brother and his family are coming over later today for the first time since we really got settled in this house (can't believe we bought this place almost three years ago already!) I'm unreasonably nervous, possibly because my house is not childproofed - fragile things are everywhere! Eeep!
xoxo
