I can completely cross off one of my May goals - go to the playground with all six kids! On Wednesday my brothers, their families, my parents (and the puppy!) my grandpa, Kevin and I ordered some pizza and had dinner at the playground. It was a lot of fun and the weather was just perfect! There were a few mishaps, albeit really funny ones like my niece flying out of this weird flower shaped spinning thing because Kevin happened to spin her a liiiittle too fast. (Don't worry, I didn't laugh until I saw she was okay and now it's really funny because in my mind I've exaggerated it!)
I, as always, loaded up my camera bag with about two cameras too many. I never know what I'm going to feel like shooting with until I'm taking pictures. On Wednesday I didn't touch anything else other than my instax 210. It's usually ignored because I swear, it is the most fickle camera. The pictures are usually mediocre but I was actually surprised how much I liked some of these.
I'm really glad we were all able to get together and spend this evening at the playground. May is flying by! I'm not even sure when the next time we'll be able to get together as a family will be, other than at my brother's going away party. I really wish we could do this monthly.
