Not quite a DIY // Sweater Clips

A while back I posted a tutorial on how to make your own sweater clips from clip on earrings. While those were great, on this occasion I didn't have any clip on earrings on hand and was in a pinch to have some that matched my outfit. I managed to make a pair that looked great, got the job done and best of all were quick to make.
You will need:
a glue gun
two small iron on patches
necklace chain
two pinbacks

You can find patches like this at just about any craft store, or anywhere that has small sewing section (Walmart, Target, etc). All you need to do is put a little dab of hot glue on the back and attach the pinback and let dry.

Next cut two lengths of chain. I cut mine so one was around 6.5 inches and the other was 7.5 inches long. You can obviously make your longer or shorter depending on your size, and how you'd like them to hang.

Put the chain on one of the stars and attach that star to your sweater. Match it up and repeat on the other side. I definitely found it easiest to put the chain on one side at a time as I attached it to my sweater since the chain isn't actually glued in or anything.

Super simple, right? The best part is since you're not permanently attaching the chain to the patch you can mix and match chains and patches as often as you'd like!
