• Velveteen Mint. I found Maricarr's blog when she emailed me last week and instantly added it to my reading list. Her blog is brand new but already shows such potential!
new (to me) movies I watched:
• Dark Shadows. My mom and I saw Dark Shadows in theaters earlier this week. I really liked it and so did she. Lots of little giggles! Plus I absolutely love Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, so how can you go wrong with those two?!
• The Dictator. I know this is against all popular opinion, but I loved The Dictator. Kevin and I went and saw it on opening day after waiting, and waiting and waiting for it to finally come out! Us and the people behind us were the only people in the whole theater laughing. I thought it was great, and after watching it Kevin and I both agreed it'd be something we'll end up buying when it comes out. I love Sacha Baron Cohen.
• The Backyard. This documentary is probably not something I would have watched had it not been recommended to me by Netflix, but I actually really liked it. It's about backyard wrestling...
• Cool and the Crazy. I really like movie from the 1990's with Alicia Silverstone, what can I say?

• We met the sweetest little baby bunny!
• I discovered a new mushroom in my garden. I'm still really stoked about this despite the fact out of the oodles and oodles of them none matured.
• Elycia and I officially declared BEST FRIEND status! Wahooo!
• We spent tons of time as whole family this month, it was great. It was fun to have all six of my brother's kids in one place. I especially loved the time we all spent at the playground.

To me, June is the beginning of Summer (well, it is as of the 20th.) I'm looking forward to camping, swimming, meeting new animals, and just enjoying the sunshine!
