Photo an hour // March 28, 2012

I came so close to forgetting to do March's photo an hour! What happened was in February I waited until the last minute to do it so after I finished I thought to myself "Okay, I have a month before I do this again" and proceeded to forget about it until four days before the new month. I'm reeeeally glad I remembered, even if it was later than I would have liked.

Here is what I did March 28th, broken down hour by hour...

8am // Picking out what to wear for the day! I love looking through all my pretty vintage dresses.
9am // Writing postcards.
10am // I looked out the door and saw Carl, my favorite stray, waiting for food. He doesn't seem to want pet but I'm 100% sure if I let him he'd come in the house. (That's him peeking in the door when I opened it to grab the food dish)
10am as well // Doctor Jealous ....er, I mean, Doctor Octopus tries to look super sweet in a ray of sunshine so I'll pay attention to him instead of Carl.
11am // Watering and admiring my growing window garden.
12pm // Photographing my favorite little corner in my craft room for a future blog post.
still 12pm // Multitasking -responding to emails and painting my nails.
1pm // FedEx brought me some new shoes from Blowfish!
2pm // I cleaned out a mason jar I found in the woods at a family reunion and put all the dead butterflies I found on the beach last year in it to put on my curiosity shelf. It looks so beautiful!
3pm // Making banana bread and some cookies. I love filling the house with the smell of cinnamon.
4pm // Doc always waits at the door for Kevin after he hears him pull in the driveway. I guess that smug face is "Mah daddeh lubs me, you neveh pet me, mawm."
5pm // We headed over to my parents for woodshop night (which has now turned into "family walk in the woods night" since the weather is so beautiful). As soon as we got there I took outfit pictures. I always take a few shots of Kevin first to make sure the lighting and location look nice.
6pm // Exploring the great outdoors. I am so happy to be seeing so many signs of spring!
7pm // On our way to the car, I spotted the mandible of a small critter in my mom's garden! I immediately darted for it only to discover a whole bunch more bones! After looking for about fifteen minutes I was starting to think I wouldn't find the skull. I was about to call it quits (a mandible with intact teeth is enough of an exciting find for me) when Kevin found the little tiny skull under some leaves! So exciting!

Hope you enjoyed this little peek into another normal day in my life!
xoxo
