I ended up really liking last week's 3 favorite recent thrift finds post and decided to do it again this week. It gives me a chance to talk a little bit more about my find as opposed to showing big haul photos (which I will still do from time to time as they happen) where I don't really go into detail about the items.
1 // This is one of the dresses from the estate sale a few weekends ago. It's my favorite of the many, many pieces I was able to snag. I am so so so crazy about it. Cost me a whopping 50 cents!! The woman and I are like exactly the same size, I cannot believe it. Almost everything fits better than I could even dream of. I actually regret not buying every single piece in her closets. (there were at least 7 closets in the house!)
2 // Our new couch! Found this beaut at Goodwill for $20! There is no way I could have left it there. It's in amazing condition and is my favorite color for a couch to be. We had plans to get rid of our other couch (the brown one) and put this one in it's place but after getting it home we realized it's probably not a good idea the kitties are accidentally pulling up threads left and right. They don't scratch furniture but they're pretty rough wrestlers with each other and claws fly (ya know, kind of like in a cartoon where there's a little cloud and arms flying out when two characters are fighting.) So we now have two couches, it's a pretty cozy little set up! I'm really lovin' it.
3 // This cape! I've been hunting around for vintage capes recently and haven't really been having the best of luck. A few days ago I finally found one! I thought it might be a little bit small but it ended up being just perfect. I can't wait to wear it!
