This is from Thursday, Kevin and I headed over to the park to take a walk, and enjoy the beautiful day. I was just about to set the time on my camera (the Instax Mini 50S
has a ten second time and tripod mount!) and run over to the tree where Kevin was when I hear "Do you want me to press the button for you?" I look over and there he is... the park ranger, the wonderful man who gave us a hard time about picking mushrooms a month or so back and the same guy who I'm about 99.99% sure was spying (through binoculars!) on Elycia, Ivan, Kevin and I while we were at the park. After I politely responded "No thank you, it has a timer on it." he stood there for what seemed like forever but in reality was at least 5 minutes. He didn't say a word, just watched. He's kind of creepy and I'm pretty sure he's trying to intimidate us out of coming to the park, but it's not going to work! Although I will admit he's great at making us feel awkward! ;)
You know, after re-reading this multiple times deciding on whether or not to post it since I don't like to post negative things on the blog I came to two conclusions.
1. I said I wanted to share a short story about each photo in the project and that really is the story of the picture, good or bad.
2. My writing and what I've briefly described doesn't really make the ranger seem as creepy and rude as the whole vibe he gives off in person does.
Here are two silly outtakes from when I was trying to take a photo for this week's post. The kitties were determined to help, but ended up doing just the opposite. (as with all photos - you can click to make it larger!)
Well, I'm off to enjoy the rest of my evening. It's been a fabulous day full of thrifting, good food, and amazing weather. Hope you all are having a great weekend!
