I've kind of been wearing these boots and tights non-stop both together and separately with other things but I seriously cannot get enough of either one. Speaking of these boots, I actually went back to kmart and bought another pair in another color. (PS. They're totally on clearance for $13 right now, score!!) I love them, they're so comfy! Plus they wipe clear after I trudge through the mud which is a must for me.

Doesn't this dress look like this one from Modcloth that I wore back in the summer time? This one actually had long sleeves but I tend to feel like I look awkward in long sleeve dresses so I chopped them off. Now I'm thinking about taking a few inches off the bottom. Altering vintage dresses is so much fun.

February in Review!

 new blogs I found & enjoyed:
I actually only found one new blog in February. I mean I subscribed to a few that I had heard of or maybe even visited before but fell in love with like Orchid Grey. But I was so excited to find Sweet Something this month! What an awesome blog!

new (to me) movies I watched:
• Parents.
• Extreme Bodies. The only thing wrong with this documentary series is that there aren't a million more episodes.
• Hatchet. This is literally my favorite kind of movie - a group of people getting stranded somewhere and there just happens to be some sort of deformed or mutant killer chasing after them. It was pretty decent and satisfied my need for more of that kind of movie.
• Confessions of Sorority Girls.
• Red State. Kevin and I watched this one together, it was SO good. I definitely recommend it.

 exciting happenings on and offline:
• I posted my first vlog! I'm still so excited about all the awesome stuff Elycia and I accomplished during our blog weekend. I can't wait to make more vlogs.
• I bought a really amazing planner (that you can kind of see in this post) and it's been keeping me on track so much better than me just trying to make lists. Seriously, best purchase in a REALLY long time. I plan on blogging about it and how I've been utilizing it soon.

• I became a member of The Delightful Dozen! Wahooo!

• We got rid of our big, boring, brown couch. It was a big decision (and a really tough one! I mean, it was the first big thing we bought together after moving in other than the house itself!) but it was a dang good decision! Our living is amazing now. It feels SO much bigger and looks so much brighter. I'll ramble on about this a little more in another post soon though. ;)

I've had this sweater for quite some time and had yet to wear it until this day. The day I found it I also found the most beautiful, yellow vintage dress with the most amazing collar and they go together like peas and carrots (lamb and tuna fish? if you know what that's from, we can be friends! :P) But the dress is just slightly fancy so I can't really see myself wearing it in the woods so as a result this poor sweater has been neglected. Now that it's gotten a taste of the fresh air I have a feeling it's going to be high rotation!
